Welcome to TruckersMP! In this article, you will learn everything you need to know to get started.

What is TruckersMP?

TruckersMP is a free multiplayer modification for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) and American Truck Simulator (ATS) that allows you to experience these simulators in a shared online world together with other players.

The modification is a community-driven project, developed and maintained by volunteers who dedicate their free time to building and improving it. TruckersMP is a standalone modification, and we are in no way affiliated with or supported by SCS Software, the developer and publisher of both ETS2 and ATS.

TruckersMP places you in a world with real people, real drivers, real traffic situations, real interactions, and real consequences. You will come across busy highways, convoys, traffic jams, Virtual Trucking Companies (VTCs), and players from all over the world. Some areas are very active and crowded, while others are quieter and more relaxed, giving you the option to choose your experience.

It is important to understand that although this is a game, it is a simulation environment. You are expected to drive responsibly and respect traffic rules.

Rules

The TruckersMP Rules are there to ensure everyone’s gameplay experience is enjoyable. Violating the rules can result in server kicks and temporary bans. Before you play on our servers, make sure you read them.
Game Moderators monitor the servers, take care of in-game reports, and take necessary action against any disruptive behavior from other players. You can find out how to report a user in-game here.

Report Moderators monitor web reports that are submitted through the report system.

Server Types

We offer multiple servers depending on your playstyle and region.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 Servers

Simulation 1 (Europe)
Speed limit: 110 km/h, cars enabled, collisions enabled. This is the main simulation environment and the most populated server.

Simulation 2 (Europe)
Speed limit: 150 km/h, cars enabled, collisions enabled, with slightly more relaxed speed restrictions.

[US] Simulation
Speed limit: 150 km/h, cars enabled, collisions enabled. The server is hosted in the US, so it is optimised for players in that region.

[Asia] Simulation
Speed limit: 150 km/h, cars enabled, collisions enabled. The server is hosted in Asia, so it is optimised for players in that region.

Arcade (Europe)
Speed limit: none, collisions disabled, §2 - Game only rules marked with a asterisk do not apply.

ProMods
ProMods is a major map expansion for ETS2 that adds 80+ new cities, 8 new countries, expanded road networks, and custom scenery.

There are two ProMods servers. To join them, you need all ETS2 map DLCs and ProMods installed.

ProMods Simulation
Speed limit: 150 km/h, cars enabled, collisions enabled, with slightly more relaxed speed restrictions.

ProMods Arcade
Speed limit: none, collisions disabled, §2 - Game only rules marked with a asterisk do not apply.

American Truck Simulator Servers

Simulation and US Simulation
Speed limit: 100 mph, cars enabled, collisions enabled.

US Arcade
Speed limit: none, collisions disabled, §2 - Game only rules marked with a asterisk do not apply.

Virtual Trucking Companies (VTCs)

Joining a Virtual Trucking Company (VTC) is a great way to connect with other community members, make friends, enjoy convoys, and bring a touch of real-world logistics into your TruckersMP experience.

There are many VTCs to choose from, ranging from more relaxed ones to more professional or strict ones. You can use our VTC System or the #vtc-advertisement channel on our Discord server to find a VTC that’s right for you.

Some VTCs are Validated or Verified, meaning they’re officially recognised by TruckersMP Community Management as active and professional companies that make a real impact and show innovation in the virtual trucking world. You can find out more about the Validated and Verified programs here.

Events

You can either organise your own event or join the hundred events that take place on our servers every day. During these events, you follow a planned route, often with event staff giving you directions. Some also organise truck shows or other types of events.

TruckersMP often hosts official events, from monthly convoys and delivery events to random road events and special events for Christmas, Halloween, our anniversary, and more.

Creating an Account

First Launch

Once you have downloaded and installed the TruckersMP launcher:

1. Open the launcher.
2. Choose your game (ETS2 or ATS).
3. Enter your TruckersMP account e-mail and password. You can select “Remember Me” to save these for future logins.
4. Select your preferred server.
5. Click ‘‘Drive’’. Once you spawn in, you will appear in so-called “Ghost Mode”. For a couple of seconds, you are in a non-collision state. Make sure to wait to drive until you are out of Ghost Mode.
